Facet Medial Branch Block

A simple, X-ray guided day-surgery case involving 2 injections into the back. Helps to reduce pain and inflammation in the back.

Radiofrequency Denervation

A day-surgery procedure that aims to provide long lasting pain relief in the back by blocking pain impulses from the back to the brain.

Sacroiliac Blocks

Inflammation in the spine and pelvic joints can lead to constant lower back pain. Targeted anaesthetic injections can greatly reduce this.

Epidural and nerve root blocks

An X-ray guided epidural nerve block that helps greatly reduce inflammation, back pain and sciatica potentially caused by disc prolapse.

Peripheral Nerve Blocks

Individual nerves can be damaged by trauma or surgery, causing intense localised pain. Nerve blocks can help find the source and reduce pain

Trigger Point Injections

Trigger points are tender areas of the body, often muscles. If physiotherapy fails, a long term strategy can be steroid or anaesthetic injections

Botox Injections

Muscle spasms can cause pain and so a diluted botulinum toxin injection can safely block muscle activity, reducing spasm and therefore pain
